How to commision a portrait
Pets, People, Homes
Miniature, 5”x 7" One subject only, $100
Small 8”x 10", $150
Medium, 11”x14”, $250
Large. 14”x22”, $400
Each additional person or pet, $60
Bridal
Medium, 11” x 14” $500 (complication fee included)
Large, 14” x 22” $600 (complication fee included)
Each additional person or pet, $75
Complication Fee. $60-$150 for complicated fabric patterns, such as lace, stripes and plaid.
*Excluding Bridal Portraits
Photo Fee $100 if necessary. The photos are for the purpose of composing a portrait and remain the property of the artist and are copyright protected. Photos may be shared with the client at the artist’s discretion, once the portrait is finished and payment is received.
How it works
- Go to the contact page and send a photo and a explanation of what you would like painted.
- Full payment is necessary once a photo is chosen.
- Once your photo is received, it takes 2-4 weeks to complete the painting. If there is a waiting list, I can give tell you an approximate starting date as long as your photo is in the queue.
- Your painting will not include a mat or frame. I would be happy to give you advice on framing.
- All paintings are sent by ground mail. The shipping cost is typically $12-$20 within Canada and USA, double with tracking. If you choose postage without tracking the artist is not responsible for items undelivered/lost.
